Education Options for Muslim Kids
There are several ways to supplement Islamic education with public school:
Encourage children to attend an Islamic weekend school or after-school program to reinforce Islamic teachings.
Incorporate Islamic studies at home by reading Islamic books, discussing Islamic topics, and encouraging children to ask questions.
Find Islamic community events or gatherings where children can interact with other Muslim children and learn more about their faith.
Work with public school teachers to integrate Islamic values and principles into the classroom, such as promoting honesty, kindness, and respect.
Attend Islamic conferences or workshops to gain knowledge and share experiences with other Muslim families.
