COURSES
Objective:
To reach a minimum of 10 individuals fully proficient in the fundamentals of the above-mentioned categories (among others) to the extent they are adequately prepared to regularly fill in leadership roles, specifically (but not limited to):
Khateeb/Halaqah leaders
Ramadan khawatir
Youth mentor/teachers
Masjid leadership
The goal is to have at least 10 individuals adequately filling all the gaps in these positions at MAS NY within 2 years in shaa Allah.
Training Outline:
Weekly meetings covering a range of Islamic topics
Weekly Reading assignments
Course quizzes & homework
Bi-monthly workshops focusing on Leadership training
Mandatory Volunteer hours
Expected commitment from attendees: 10 hrs/wk
Students must maintain a 65% attendance rate in order to qualify for our Khateeb Training Certificate.
Any student whose attendance rate falls below 50% will be dropped out of the program.
