How much time do mentors need to dedicate per week? Mentors are required to meet once a week with their circle or group of mentees for 1.5 hours at one of our MAS center locations. You can find information about our centers on our website.
How many hours should mentors dedicate to the program overall? Mentors must attend an initial 2-hour training session and commit to 3-3.5 hours per week for their circle of mentees. In addition, they must dedicate 1.5 hours monthly and 3-4 hours quarterly (every 3 months). These are the hours required for one circle of mentees.
How many circles of mentees can a mentor oversee? Each mentor is responsible for one circle of mentees, which consists of six students. However, mentors may choose to oversee more than one circle. The number of circles a mentor conducts will determine their working hours.
